What this is
Build x AI is a community for people who build things with AI. We meet in person in Berlin, show each other how we actually work, and connect the people building similar things. No keynotes, no sales pitches: real setups, questions all the way through, and drinks afterwards.
Run by Ape Unit, a software studio and venture builder for emerging tech.
Our evenings
Different evenings for different needs.
Pick the one that fits, or come to all of them.
01
Intro to AI Agents
For people new to agents. What an agent actually is, explained and then shown live with Claude Code and Codex. No coding needed. Bring your questions.
02
Builders' Exchange
For people who build with agents every day. We go through one topic (evals, multi-agent setups, harnesses) and discuss it as a room: real workflows, real setups and real failures.
03
Show & Connect
People show what they're building, and we connect the people working on similar things. Bring a project, or just come to meet people.
Every evening
When you check in, a short card about you appears in our community chat: what you're building, your tools, your level. So people know who to talk to.
